Who is Emiliano Martínez's wife?

Amanda Gama, widely known as Mandinha Martínez, is the wife of Chelsea's Emiliano Martínez. An interior designer and businesswoman, she runs MiSueños Kids, which sells clothing, toys and furniture for children's rooms from shops in London and at Battlers Green Farm in Watford. She is also reported to run an interior design studio, Mandinha Martinez Interiors. She has a Portuguese father and a Brazilian mother, is reported to have been born in London, and worked in her parents' restaurant while at university.

The couple met in London while Martínez was at Arsenal, though accounts differ: one has him approaching her at a bus stop as he waited for the bus to training, while another places their first meeting at her family's restaurant. Together since around 2012–13, they moved in together after two years and married on 22 May 2017 at Brocket Hall, outside London, reportedly with fewer than 100 guests. She taught him Portuguese and he taught her Spanish; she replies in a mix of English, Spanish and Portuguese she calls 'esporgles'.

They have two children. Mandinha attended the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and says she feels 'a bit Argentine', naming Mar del Plata, her husband's birthplace, as her favourite place in the country. She shares family life on Instagram, where she had about 780,000 followers in April 2023.
