Editorial policy

Confirmed, rumoured and denied

• Confirmed: either person has said or posted it, or two independent reputable outlets report it as fact.
• Rumoured: at least one reputable outlet reports it and neither person has confirmed it. We label it as a rumour everywhere it appears.
• Denied: reported, then publicly denied. We list these only in a player's dating history, with who denied it.
• No known partner: nothing meets the bar above. That is the answer we publish.

A single gossip line, a fan account or an anonymous website is not enough.

Sources

We use the couple's own posts and statements, club and federation sites, national newspapers and major sports outlets, and established celebrity and entertainment press. Two entertainment-press reports are needed to confirm a relationship. We never use template "bio" or "net worth" sites, AI-written listicles, fan wikis or forums. Names that appear only on such sites are not published. Every page lists its sources and how much weight each one carries.

Private individuals

Many partners are not public figures. For them we publish only what they or the player have made public. We do not publish their date of birth, workplace, education, family members or where they live, and we do not link to their social media or show their photo. If a rumoured partner is a private individual, we name her only if a national news outlet has.

Children

We give a count only, for example "two daughters and a son". We never publish children's names, birth dates, schools or photos, even when the parents have.

Age

Nobody under 18 appears in the directory, as a player or a partner. Relationships that existed only while someone was under 18 are not listed or described anywhere.

What we never write

• Comments on anyone's appearance or body.
• Speculation about sexuality, gender identity or ethnicity.
• Unconfirmed breakup, cheating, pregnancy or "crisis" stories.
• Money: net worth, salaries or house prices.
• Anything framed as an accusation that the source does not make.

Review and freshness

A human editor reviews every page before publication. Every page shows the date it was last verified. The most-searched players are updated within a day of a relationship story; everyone else is re-checked monthly, and every player's club is re-checked at the end of each transfer window.

Corrections and removals

We make corrections or removals within 48 hours. If you are a private individual named on this site and want your details removed, we remove them without argument. Report a correction.
