Who is Bruno Fernandes's wife?

Ana Pinho is the wife of Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes. Portuguese, she has worked as a futsal referee.

The couple met as teenagers at school in the Boavista area of Porto, where they were classmates, and have been together since around 2011. Fernandes has written that she has been with him throughout his career. After he moved to Novara in Italy in 2012, she followed him there once she had finished secondary school. When he phoned her from Italy saying he wanted to give up, she told him: "This is your dream."

They married in 2015 and have two children. Ana was the first person Fernandes told once his move to Manchester United was certain, and she moved to Manchester with him in 2020. He has called her "the tough one" who "never cries", describing himself as the emotional one, and says she is as grounded as he is.

She is a regular at Old Trafford, and when he was named captain, he went home and told her. In April 2026 he told The Wayne Rooney Show that her question about whether he had achieved his dreams helped him turn down a Saudi offer and stay at United.
